So Qiagen had it’s first ever Stitch-A-Thon yesterday! Ended up with 165 hats being made between all of us with some going to the local hospital for newborns and the rest being donated to a homeless shelter in Frederick :)
(The two bottom hats are 2 of the 6 I finished yesterday!)
Modified tree of life afghan! Took me about a month of solidly working on it. Hopefully it makes up for the fact that it’s a reeeaaally late christmas gift for my parents.
Amused by the fact that Ravelry asks what your favorite curse word is in the bio section. They’re probably used fairly often in the crocheting community haha.
Also this is my next project (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/tree-of-life-afghan-crochet) and it’s a fairly daunting one. I’m really bad with keeping my stitch count right, but practice makes perfect and this blanket will be giving me plenty of practice.
Also, also, why are we open new year’s eve? 90% of our customers are closed and we’ve been ridiculously slow. Please let us go home early, I’ve got projects to start!

The two blankets ended up being waaay bigger than anticipated (not to mention I’ve already run out of yarn for the top one), so motivation has been low. The scarf is just time consuming with all of the color changes :(

Finished two more bags! Been trying out different post stitches, and so far I’m pretty pleased with all of them.
P.S. Miscellaneous shit really needs to stop happening so that I can finally get a camera to take proper pictures of things and start selling some of these…
